I want to say this right away this does not come with loose leaf tea It is only the teacup with the lid in the strainer. As I was ready to purchase I saw a lot of people complaining that there was not tea that came with the cup. If you read very carefully it does not say that it came with loose leaf Tea and it does not advertise that it does. Please do not let this comment stop you from buying this, It is a very good product and I am very happy with it and it has quickly become my favorite teacup. On the bottom it says do not microwave or put in dishwasher. Hope this comment helps. 🙂
