   Only two days with the product so far, but I have noticed a large difference in both grouphead cleanliness as well as a decent reduction in channelling. So far this item is a huge improvement to my routine, along with a decent grind distributor to ensure tamping is always perfectly flat and perpendicular.You may need to reduce the amount of grinds present in the portafilter so you have enough room between the group head and the puck screen otherwise you may further compact the grinds and change the taste of the coffee.Either way, it’s a big yes from me, and would recommend to any one to give it a bash and see if it works for you 🙂

   It’s a bit rough around the edges and not really suitable for use with the stock breville baskets/portafilter as it scratches the edges, gets stuck and doesn’t sit flat. It works great with my aftermarket open-bottom portafilter + basket though.

   At first, I wasn’t sure if I needed it, but it works great by preventing the coffee grounds from going on the brewing head. It made a noticeable difference in the puck and even helps with channeling. Job done, and I’m impressed!

   J’ai attendu un peu avant d’écrire un commentaire d’avoir fait suffisamment d’essais. Le fait d’utiliser un écran change légèrement le flux et nécessite de régler le broyeur différemment.il faut prévoir d’utiliser un panier suffisamment grand pour gérer l’épaisseur de filtre, c’est à dire qu’il ne faut pas le remplir jusqu’à ras bord 🙂 Mais ça c’est vrai pour tous les modèles. Celui-ci ne déroge pas à la règle. Sur un panier de 17g en 58,5 il passe nickel et il y a qu’un dixième de mm qui reste, juste assez pour le glisser sans provoquer d’appel d’air et d’avoir de la mouture qui s’éjecte partout.sur la qualité de fabrication ça a l’air d’être parfait. Je n’ai pas de microscope pour regarder ça de près cela dit. En tout cas je n’ai pas de channeling du tout avec, c’est étonnant, la mouture est impeccablement traversée avec le plus de répartition possible tout en protégeant l’écran de douche de la salissure pénible à nettoyer.Je le recommande donc, vu le prix réduit, il marche vraiment bien, mais nécessite un tassage bien fait. J’ai laissé le tasseur d’origine et acheté un normcore à ressort d’ailleurs à cet effet et le couple est très très efficace.si ça marche pas chez vous changez de machine ou revoyez votre technique, à 9 bars ça passe sans souci et avec un résultat en tasse excellent (sur une bonne machine).

    Pratique mais un peu épais
    Remplit bien son rôle, empêche la machine de se salir lors de chaque extractions d’ expresso.En revanche garder a l esprit que la grille est relativement épaisse et peut causer problème , vous empechant de fixer le porte filtre si vous êtes déjà limite niveau quantité de café dans le panier. Il faut bien doser.
