Apple & Sour Cream Cake
This old-fashioned apple cake is made with fresh apples and salted caramel frosting. Top it with extra apple slices and additional apple slices.

Castor sugar

coconut shredded

Sour cream

self-raising flour

tin of pie apples
5 granny smiths peeled finely sliced, cooked in microwave for 5 minutes
Instructions
Melt butter in Sauté Pan on low heat, add eggs and beat with whisk.
Add castor sugar, coconut, sour cream, flour and mix well
Add apples gently blending through cake.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Cook with lid on, vent open on low/medium heat until the lid is hot (5 mins) then turn down a little.
Cook for approximately 25 minutes.
Notes
Delicious hot or cold served with cream/ custard or ice cream.
