The Moroccan chicken tagine dish is made of pieces of chicken braised in spices with garlic, onions, olives, and preserved lemons. This dish is easy to make and good for company. Packed with flavors, preservative-free. And less than $2/serve.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Onion (peeled and quartered)
  • 1 clove Garlic (peeled)
  • 1 Red capsicum (deseeded and quartered)
  • 800g Chicken, (diced)
  • 1 can chickpeas (rinsed)
  • 2 tbsp Meal Inspirations Moroccan blend
  • 700g Tomato Passata sauce
  • 1 Lemon zest. or 1/2 preserved lemon

Instructions
 

  • Add onion, garlic and capsicum. Quick Pulse 5 sec. Remove Multi Blade. Scrape down.
  • Add 1 tbsp olive oil. FRY P3 Start.
  • Add chicken and chickpeas. Step2. Start.
  • Add spices, passata, and lemon. Temp 80C, Time 20min,
  • Serve with rice or cous cous.
