Beef with Oyster Sauce Stir Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 700g beef (cut into strips)
  • 1 small red onion (finely sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 2cm piece fresh ginger (crushed)
  • 100g sugar snap peas
  • 1 red capsicum (deseeded and finely sliced)
  • 2 tbsp  soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Heat the Wok on medium-high heat for 3 mins. Add 1 teaspoon of oil and heat for 1 min.
  • Brown the beef strips in small batches, to avoid meat stewing. Set aside and keep beef warm.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of oil, stir fry onion, garlic & ginger until softened.
  • Add vegetables, and stir fry for 3 min.
  • Return the beef to the Wok, add sauces and water, and stir fry until heated through.
  • Serve with steamed rice, or noodles.

Notes

Use chicken or lamb instead of beef.
