Apple Crumble

Ingredients
  

  • 10 10 Granny Smith apples
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 cups Plain flour
  • 2 cups Rolled oats
  • 250g Butter (soft, diced)

Method
 

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
  2. Peel, core and thickly slice the apples. Spread apples evenly over the base of the Sauté Pan and sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 cup water. Saute over medium heat until apples are soft (about 5 minutes).
  3. Sift flour into a bowl; add oats and sugar.
  4. Rub butter into flour mixture.
  5. Sprinkle mixture evenly over apple.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

Serve with fresh cream or ice cream.
