Why pay $5 per energy ball when you can make your own for a fraction of that?

Ingredients
  

  • 80 g Pumpkin seeds
  • 25 g oats
  • 50 g almonds
  • 100 g Deseeded dates
  • 1 Tbsn Chai spice blend
  • 1 1/2 tspn cocoa powder (preferably dutch cocoa)
  • 1 Tbsn Honey
  • 1/2 tspn Vanilla extract
  • 1 Orange, zest and juice

Method
 

  1. Insert Mini-bowl and mini-MultiBlade. Add half the pumpkin seed. Quickpulse until a fine powder. Set aside.
  2. Add remaining pumpkin seeds, oats and almonds. QuickPulse 5 sec. Add dates, chai spice, cocoa, pinch of sea salt. QuickPulse 5 sec. Scrape down sides. repeat if not finely minced.
  3. Add honey, vanilla, zest and juice. Time 30 sec, Speed 8. Start. Scrape down sides. Repeat until the mixture comes together as a big ball.
  4. Roll into 2/3 golf-ball size. Roll balls in reserved pumpkin seed powder.
