One-Pot 15 Minute Dinner
Wow them with this quick and easy old-fashioned favourite – all whipped up in the Pressure Cooker together in 15 minutes. Less washing up, more time to relax!
Ingredients
- 500g lean beef mince
- 1 Onion, finely diced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup Finely chopped fresh parsley
- 2 Tbs barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 6 medium carrots, scrubbed
- 6 medium potatoes, washed
Step 1
Mix the beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley and BBQ sauce well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 2
Put the beef mixture into the Silicone Spring Form Pan, press down. Cover with aluminum foil.
Step 3
Put 2 1/2 cups water into the Pressure Cooker. Place whole potatoes (skin on) in the Pressure Cooker.
Step 4
Place Spring Form Pan with beef on top of potatoes.
Step 5
Wrap each carrot individually in aluminum foil, and place on top of Spring Form Pan.
Step 6
Close lid of Pressure Cooker, on Setting 2 bring to pressure on high heat (about 2 mins).
Step 7
Cook at pressure for 15 mins on medium heat. After 15 mins, release pressure quickly by placing Pressure Cooker under cool running water until red pressure indicator drops.
Step 8
To serve with beef, mash the potatoes and mix with cheese (and any other favourite mash ingredients you may have) and slice the carrots.
Chef’s Tips
You could also added finely diced red capsicum, frozen peas, grated cheese, chilli or other favourite additions to your beef mixture.
