- 【Sufficient capacity】- Moonshine Still Machine owns 9. 6 us gal real capacity, able to distill 38 liters of raw material by heating to selectively boil and then cooling to condense the vapor. Boiler barrel: 13. 8″ X 15. 7″ (35 x 40 cm). condenser: 7. 9″ X 5″ (20 x 13 cm). all parts are made of food grade material including silicone, stainless steel and copper.
- 【Speedy cooling】- This water Distiller adopts open-type cooling method, copper coils with rapid thermal conductivity assures promising cooling performance together with large contact area with the coolant, providing a rather low temperature of distilled product. Rubber pads under condenser insulates heat and quickens cooling.
- 【Convenient usage】- precise thermometer with double display of Celsius and Fahrenheit on the lid for easy monitoring of wine temperature during distillation process. Circulating water enters through lower inlet and drains from upper outlet for efficient cooling.
- 【Dependable with secure sealing】- unlike soft Tubes, we use food grade silicone Tubes with flexibility and toughness that won’t bend easily to Ensure expedite water flow. Four Quick clips along with silicone gasket inside the lid facilitates tight sealing. One-way air evacuation valve involved for application in grain fermentation process.
- 【Versatile application】- brilliant for both beginners and experts for distilling fruit wine, distilling water, purifying water, distilling Brandy and refining plant extracts for medical purposes. Thickened bottom allows all kinds of Heating methods including gas stove, ceramic stoves, electric Coil stoves, etc.

Missing pump twice
The first one I ordered had a pinhole leak. Weird because normal they make good stuff. They sent a new one immediately but both do not include the water pump. Can’t use without a water pump. Had to buy my own. Does not hold 9.6 gallons. Holds 8.5 when filled completely. I believe they count the condenser pot for the other gallon or something. Using it to distill water as the one gallon electric water distiller can’t keep up with how much I use since I use for more than just drinking now

So many problems.
I bought this distiller thinking that when I received it I would immediately be able to begin distilling. That wasn’t the case. Here’s what’s wrong:1) The copper coil on top is called a condenser and it sits in a pot of water that rests on the lid. That water that surrounds the coil is supposed to be kept cold so that the rising steam that moves through the coil can cool down, condense, and turn back into the water. If that steam doesn’t cool down because the condenser water is too hot then you will get a blast of boiling steam from the drip spout. That’s exactly what happened to me. I added cold water and ice to the condenser but once that melted, I was in trouble. I tried to fix the problem and I was burned by the steam. I’m still healing from the burn that happened several days ago.2) The instructions aren’t clear at all, and while the booklet they give you says “Instruction Manual,” it’s basically just a recipe book with a few diagrams on what some of the parts are. It doesn’t show you how to assemble it, I had to figure that out on my own and that was scary enough all by itself for someone who’s never done this in their life. The rest of the booklet could be helpful if you’re trying to distill alcohol, but since my purpose was to make distilled water I found 98% of the book merely interesting rather than helpful. The instructions included are difficult to understand because they are buried in the recipes.3) The entire pot wobbles. I cleaned the pot per what I could understand from the instruction manual, and after I did my vinegar run I started to distill water. The pot wobbled and bounced all over the stove and I had to move it over onto the ledge of the stove (half off the burner) to try and get it to stop wobbling. It’s especially tricky because the condenser on top isn’t attached to anything but 1 tube, and there’s no lid so the hot water on top sloshed around.4) It’s already starting to rust. I received it on the 12th, and it’s now the 16th. I’ve used it 1 time and that was to clean it for use.Overall I’m really disappointed that I can’t just dive in and use this thing. For the distiller to work, I *minimally* need to buy a submersible pump so that I can get the condenser to do its job. A pump can cost anywhere from $20-$80 extra depending on what I need and I have NO clue since there is no information provided.I was so excited to start distilling. I wanted very much to be able to leave a 5-star review and brag about it while I enjoyed some freshly distilled water, but the facts are the facts, and I can’t in good conscience compliment a bad product. Not only that, but I’m going to see if I can get a refund so that I can hopefully find a product that I can actually use.

Rusts real bad
I ordered my first one in November of last year in order to make distilled water. By the end of February this year we noticed a strong iron taste. A close inspection revealed that the weld spots where the handles were attached had rusted significantly. I contacted Vevor customer service, who was very good to work with, and they replaced the pot. The new pot came in the first week of April and was placed in use. Now it is the first week of May and the new pot is beginning to rust as well. Other than the rust issue the system has worked well.
