Quick Tuna & Pea Pasta
Quick Tuna & Pea Pasta is a favourite for The Chefs Toolbox founder, David Mills and his family, especially as a quick and tasty midweek meal! This recipe is perfect for the Brazier and Steamer duo and is not only a joy to cook, it’s a great example of simple, healthy and delicious cooking.

Ingredients
- 300g farfalle pasta
- 1 tin tuna (large)
- 1 cup frozen peas

Step 1
Fill your brazier to 2/3 with water and bring to the boil. Add a pinch of salt
Step 2
Add pasta and stir, bring to boil (without lid). Cook as per packet instructions.
Step 3
2-3 minutes before pasta is cooked, add peas and return to boil.
Step 4
When cooked, strain into steamer then return pasta and peas to brazier.
Step 5
Break up tuna and stir through pasta / pea mix with a little of the oil.
Step 6
Season well with pepper and serve.
Chef’s Tips
This makes an absolutely delicious salad. Allow the dish to rest until it returns to room temperature and serve with a sprinkling of fresh parsley.
