Devilled Sausages
One of our family favourites. Full of flavour, easy as to do and great with mash!!

- 1kg Fat sausages
- 3 green apples (peeled, cored and sliced)
- 1 onion (thinly sliced)
- 3 Cloves garlic (diced)
- 1 can or 400g crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup Tomato Sauce
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 3 tbsp Malt vinegar
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Boil sausages until cooked, drain and set to one side
In a saute pan, fry onions, garlic and apples with a dash of olive oil.
Chop sausages into bite size pieces and add to saute pan.
In a separate bowl, combine sauces, vinegar, sugar and tomatoes, add to saute pan.
Simmer on low for 20 mins, stirring occasionally.
Serve with mash and veggies.
