Beef with Oyster Sauce Stir Fry
Beef with Oyster Sauce Stir Fry. Whip up a tasty, healthy stir-fry meal in minutes. Add any veggies you like!
Ingredients
- 1 Tbs vegetable oil
- 700g beef, cut into strips
- 1 small red onion – finely sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2cm piece fresh ginger, crushed
- 100g sugar snap peas
- 1 red capsicum, deseeded and finely sliced
- 2 Tbs soy sauce
- 1/3 cup oyster sauce
- 1/4 cup Water
Step 1
Heat the Wok on medium-high heat for 3 mins. Add 1 teaspoon of oil and heat for 1 min.
Step 2
Brown the beef strips in small batches, to avoid meat stewing. Set aside and keep beef warm.
Step 3
Add 1 teaspoon of oil, stir fry onion, garlic & ginger until softened.
Step 4
Add vegetables, and stir fry for 3 min.
Step 5
Return the beef to the Wok, add sauces and water, and stir fry until heated through.
Step 6
Serve with steamed rice, or noodles.
Chef’s Tips
Use chicken or lamb instead of beef.
