Chocolate Rice Pudding

Simple, fast and yummy chocolate dessert.

This chocolate pudding can be made in one pot and is easy to make. This pudding is made from sweetened condensed cream, cinnamon, and vanilla. This is the perfect winter and holiday treat.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Milk
  • 50g Butter
  • 1 1/2 Cups Arborio rice
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup Castor sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground chilli (optional)
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped

Step 1

Put the milk, butter, vanilla, sugar and rice into the Pressure Cooker and stir.

Step 2

Place the Pressure Cooker on hotplate, close and lock Pressure Cooker and bring to pressure on high heat using setting 2 (Pressure is reached when the red pressure indicator has risen)

Step 3

Once at pressure, turn down the heat and cook for 8 minutes

Step 4

Remove from heat. Quick-release pressure by placing under a running tap with cool water for a few seconds.

Step 5

Stir through the chocolate (and optional chilli) and sit for 1 minute. If there is too much liquid, heat and stir with lid off until liquid is reduced.

Step 6

Serve immediately
